Although summer camps are reserved for organized camps and retreats
during the summer, the camps are open year-round for groups of any
size to create a retreat of their own.

Focus: If any youth program has the power to make a profound difference
in the lives of our youth, it is Chrysalis. Chrysalis is an interdenominational
spiritual weekend retreat where our youth learn more about Christianity,
themselves, and their fellow brothers and sisters. This is a powerful
program that not only gives the youth an opportunity to develop Christian
leadership skills which they can bring back to their local church,
but also sends them that most powerful of messages: they are richly,
deeply loved by God.

Type: Christian persons ready to further faith walk.
Focus: This is a powerful and intensive three-day retreat for the
development of Christian leaders. Based on the Gospel of Luke's story
of the risen Jesus appearing to two who were walking back from Jerusalem.
The retreat becomes a short course in basic Christianity and so much
more. Through a series of talks, great meals, and glorious worship,
over 200 of our congregation have found joy and renewal. Applications
can be picked up in the Church office.

Focus: In cooperation with all other United Methodist Churches in
the Pacific Northwest Conference, we have four beautiful year-round
camps across our state. Summer becomes a very special time to experience
God in the outdoors. A booklet is published early in the spring. Our
camps are extremely popular and fill up fast, so register early. We
provide scholarships for families in need. Don't hesitate to ask!

In the shadow of the rain forest, on the shores of Puget Sound, campers
may explore the wooded trails, discover shellfish at low tide, and
enjoy the wonders of God's creation. Recreation includes swimming,
boating, rope swing, basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, horseshoes,

Indianola Camp and Retreat Center offers year-round lodging suited
for families, couples, and groups of 15 to 130 people. At Indianola,
you'll find comfortable meeting rooms, a variety of recreational opportunities

Located on 110 acres
of mixed forest in the heart of the Manastash Canyon in the Eastern
Cascade Mountain Foothills, Lazy F Camp and Retreat Center is an
ideal location any time of the year for groups of 5 to 150 to gather.
We host non profit groups for retreats, meetings, and conferences;
sponsor summer camps for children and youth; host school groups
for environmental education opportunities; facilitate an excellent
challenge course program; and offer retreats for youth and adults
throughout the year. Some
of the recreational opportunities at Lazy F are; Snow Tubing, Ice
skating, horseshoes, hiking, Mountain biking, horseback riding, soccer,
football, volleyball, Frisbee, Archery, fishing, and creek wading.
The Camp also has a Craft Cabin that can be used in two different
ways. For a small fee the staff will provide materials and instruction
to create crafts appropriate for your group, or you may provide
supplies and leadership and use the craft cabin at no charge. The
camp also has a barn. Upstairs is a wooden floor loft with a high
ceiling suitable for basketball (one hoop), gym games, and barn
dances. Downstairs is a carpeted multipurpose room for meetings
and activities. Folding ping-pong tables and equipment and seating
for meetings are available.

Ocean Park is located in Southwest Washington on the Long Beach
Peninsula near lighthouses, forts, museums, shops, oystering and
fishing. The beautiful site occupies 80 acres of forest and dunes
laced with trails, plus 2,000 feet of oceanfront and sand beach.
Ocean Park offers a variety of comfortable, accessible accommodations
with highly acclaimed programming, meals, and guest services.

Twinlow Camp

Place: Twinlow is located on the lower portion of Twin Lakes, north of Coeur d'Alene,
Idaho, and just 4.7 miles north of Rathdrum, Idaho, off State Highway 41.
The site features waterfront activities, sailboats, and paddle boats.
During the winter, Twinlow is within easy access to Schweitzer Basin,
Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass, and Mt. Spokane ski areas. Groups of
15 to 130 can stay in lodging which ranges from rustic cabins to private
bed and bath facilities.
